Auto Rescue Technician FAQs
Who is Auto Rescue Solutions and what is my role?
ARS is a light-duty roadside assistance company. Our roadside technicians are independent contractors (1099) who assist standard motorists in their area by providing four services: tire changes, fuel deliveries, lockout assistance, and jumpstarts. Please note that we do not offer towing services.
What is the pay structure?
Our technicians are paid per service call, with a base pay starting at $12 for each service completed
When do I get paid?
We offer a weekly direct deposit with a pay period from Monday to Sunday. Payday is the following Friday.
When can I take calls?
ARS is a 24-hour company, and you have the flexibility to create your own availability. By providing your preferred availability, you’ll help our dispatch team prioritize you for calls during those hours.
How many calls should I expect?
To maximize your earnings, we recommend speaking with your market manager to determine the best times for you to be on the road. They can help you identify peak hours and shifts that will allow you to run more calls and earn more money.
What are my next steps?
After completing the skills assessment, you’ll need to upload photos of your required tools and documents. Once your tools are reviewed and approved, a background check and ride-along will be scheduled.
Requirements:
Tools (not provided)
- 4 way lug wrench, breaker bar or impact gun
- 2 ton jack
- Air compressor
- 2 gallon fuel can
- Jump box
- Lock out kit with a long reach (no slim jims)
Documents:
- Valid Drivers license
- Valid auto insurance (must include your name as a covered driver)
- Vehicle Photos (You will be required to use your own vehicle to run calls.)
Can I Earn More?
